Funeral services for the late Peter Schreiner, a former Madisonian who died at his home in New York last Saturday were conducted by Rev. Charles Bilger at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seiwrt, east 2nd st at 8:30 o’clock this morning. Many floral tributes both from NY and Madison gave evidence of the high esteem in which the deceased was held by a wide circle of friends. The interment was in St. Joseph’s cemetery, north Walnut St, with the following cousins of the deceased serving as pall bearers. Messrs – Peter Hertz; Nicholas Hertz; Joseph J. Hertz; Joseph Seiwert.
